Nacro's Resettlement Plus Helpline provides in depth advice and information about dealing with a criminal record and the practical challenges of resettlement. The Helpline can be contacted on 020 7840 6464 Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
or by email at helpline@nacro.org.uk

Our friendly and expert advisers provide confidential advice and information to people with a criminal record and employers on issues such as:

  • applying for jobs with a criminal record
  • dealing with job applicants or employees with a criminal record
  • Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks and disclosures
  • vetting and barring procedures
  • other areas that may be affected by a criminal record including buying insurance, foreign travel and licence conditions
  • general advice on criminal records including accessing services, training or education

Each year our specialist helpline staff help over 30,000 people find the answers they need. And if we can't help, we'll try to find another organisation that can. The Helpline is run by Nacro, the crime reduction charity.
